FAQ

  • What do you actually do?

I work with small businesses to simplify their marketing . In my experience, that almost always starts with a plan. Most business owners I know have plenty of ideas and have tried plenty of things, but nothing feels quite right and it's hard to know what's actually working. I help bring focus and clarity to all of that; taking everything on the table and organizing it into a strategy and plan that actually makes sense for your business.

  • Where do I start if I don't know what I need?

With a conversation. You might not think you know what you want or need, but typically, once we start talking it becomes pretty clear. Book a free Sprout Session and we'll figure it out together.

  • How do I know if I'm ready?

If you're asking the question, you're probably ready. There's no perfect time to start, but there is a low-pressure way to find out. The Sprout Session costs nothing and comes with zero commitment. If it feels right, we'll talk next steps. If it doesn't, no hard feelings.

  • Can I hire you just for one project?

Absolutely. Sometimes you just need focused, short-term support, and that's exactly what The Project is designed for. I'll still take the time to understand your business and what you need, just in the context of a specific ask or goal.

  • Do you offer audits?

Yes! While it's not listed on the services page, I do offer basic and extended marketing audits. It's a great starting point if you want a clear picture of where things stand before committing to a full plan. And if you decide to move forward with The Plan or The Partnership, the cost of your audit is credited toward your investment.

  • Do you build websites or manage social media?

Not exactly. I can tell you exactly what your website should say and how your social media should be used strategically, but the actual building and day-to-day managing isn't my wheelhouse. I'm happy to recommend people I trust for both.

  • Do I need to have a marketing budget?

Some investment is necessary, including in working with me! But I work with a wide range of budgets and I'm naturally scrappy. I'd rather find smart, focused ways to use what you have than recommend things you can't afford or don't need. We can talk through budget during your Sprout Session.

  • Do you work with businesses outside of New Hampshire?

I do. My roots are in Rochester, NH and I love supporting my local community, but I'm equally comfortable working remotely and genuinely enjoy getting to know businesses from other places. Great marketing strategy travels well.

  • Do you work with businesses in any industry?

Yes! I don't specialize in any one industry, and honestly, I think that's a strength. Having a diverse roster of clients means I'm constantly finding inspiration from unexpected places and thinking beyond what's considered standard in any one space. Fresh perspective is kind of the whole point.
